CARE (Concerned About Reaching Everyone) is a ministry of compassion that serves people within the church and local community.  CARE expresses the love of Christ by: connecting with people through phone calls and visits, meeting emotional and spiritual needs through small groups, and addressing physical needs through benevolent outreach.

Connection

The CARE Ministry lets people know they matter. Whether through telephone calls from the Care Callers or home visits from the Visitation Ministry, CARE connects with people.  In the midst of our high-technology society, CARE recognizes the importance of personal contact.  By these contacts, the church is made aware of needs that may otherwise go unnoticed.

Groups

CARE has several small groups that help people connect with others facing similar challenges in life. The GriefShare group helps people journey through the process of grief after losing a loved one. Hope Keepers small group encourages those dealing with chronic illness to keep faith in God even in the midst of daily pain.  CARE also has team members available who can give advice to those caring for aging parents.

Outreach

CARE ministries are focused on serving others. Senior Connection does Bible studies and sings hymns in local nursing homes. CAIR Force provides assistance to spouses of deployed military members; assistance could ranges from auto repair to baby sitting. Hospitality prepares repast meals for families after funeral services and also help cater church events. Prayer Callers and Prayer Chain members connect with people in need by lifting prayer concerns to the Lord.

CARE is not only a ministry of compassion but also a ministry of action.  Connecting with people and letting them know they are cared for is the heart of the ministry. However, it doesn’t stop there. Helping to meet the need is the goal, because we are Concerned About Reaching Everyone.
